The studio, powered by the Hispack of Fira de BarcelonaThe "Packaging for the Future" report, which reflects the views of nearly 1,500 representatives of companies, experts and organisations involved in the packaging industry, reflects a growing confidence in economic recovery and thus investment.

An important indication of the climate of confidence is that financing or treasury difficulties are no longer a major concern, and only 17.9% of respondents consider them a critical point, compared to almost 40% who said so in the Hispack Barometer from three years ago.
The predominant innovation factor in the packaging continues to be the reduction in costs in materials, energy expenditure, etc., although it significantly increases the sustainabilityThe number of people interviewed for this report is estimated to be a key factor for 48% of the respondents. Also growing, the Smart packaging (important for 33.5%) and packaging of convenience (29.8%). Similarly, they are growing with respect to 2012 as factors driving innovation in packaging: consumer safety and personalization and micro-segmentation by niches. On the other hand, aspects such as ready-to-serve (speed and ease of placing the product on the shelf) and the evolution of distribution channels are down.
