The contest estimates that this aid is equivalent to more than 100,000 euros in technical knowledge and access to innovative testing facilities. Second prize went to the Swiss company Cultivated Biosciences , which is developing “a sustainable, clean-label fat ingredient from oily yeast that provides the creaminess needed for plant-based dairy products. Its innovation promises to contribute to dairy products of vegetable origin that are creamier and more pleasant”, they explain from the contest. For the co-founder of this startup, Tomas Turner , “receiving this validation from the jury made up of R&amp;D managers from the best food technology companies and institutions in the world is an incredible milestone for us and a source of motivation.
