October 16 marks World Food Day . The United Nations takes advantage of the day to draw attention to the need to develop new sustainable food systems that guarantee safe and sufficient food for a population that in six years could reach 8.5 billion people and exceed 9,700 within 30 years. In a context, furthermore, in which new consumption habits are imposed and in which climate change threatens natural resources.
